SELF AWARENESS – HOW TO RECOGNIZE IT


In the previous post we learned what Self Awareness (http://wayachievers.com/?p=345) is and what are the benefits of adopting it. Today we will learn how we can become self-aware, but before we start thinking about it. we request that those who have not read the previous section; please read the first part of this post by clicking on the above link. So that there will be no doubt in anyone’s mind.
“What is necessary to change a person is to change his awareness of himself.”
Self-awareness is the first step to personal development. Knowing ourselves allows us to take control of our lives. Self-awareness helps us to see ourselves clearly. Practicing self-awareness gives us knowledge that we do not know about ourselves. Self-awareness is a never-ending journey – even for those who know themselves well. Increasing self-awareness can turn you into a better leader – both personally and professionally. Self-aware people make better decisions which are more creative and supportive; But after knowing these things about self-awareness, now the question may be arising in everyone’s mind how we can become self-aware. So, the answer is that by adopting the following methods, we can become self-aware. Enjoy these self-awareness exercises, try to apply them in your life and see how much they work for you: –

1.Awareness of our mind: – Often we lack self-awareness because we actually think too much. We are easily lost in our thoughts, believing that they are true or attached to us because our mind has decided to throw them at us; But regular practice of understanding will open your eyes to how the thinking mind works and how much more you have besides the content of your thoughts. In particular, the practice of insight is a great way to learn more about how your ideas work. When you practice seeing your thoughts without contacting them or thinking about them; you begin to realize a powerful idea that is not your own.
2.Identification of intellectual deviations: –Intellectual deviations are misconceptions and beliefs that determine how we see ourselves and other things. We all have some mental habits in which we do not see any bias. The bottom line is that a major source of lack of self-awareness is bad mental habits and if we learn to recognize these patterns of wrong thinking, we can become more self-aware and feel better. 
3.Get feedback from others: –There are some aspects of everyone’s life that one cannot see for oneself, but they need to be improved.  Feedback is a very effective way to learn about and improve these aspects. You can get this feedback from any of your close friends, family etc. to see what you miss about yourself. Take criticism well. Avoid defenses at all costs. Guess you’re not feeling great when someone points out something wrong with you and that’s fine. It is normal to feel this way. Try your best to accept their feedback and thank them for their feedback and explain to them that you plan to work on it.
4.Pay attention to the things that bother you for other people: – Often the things that bother us the most in other people that we don’t like in ourselves. So, whenever we are disturbed by someone’s work or talk, ask yourself: – Isn’t there a reflection of this thing in me, which I dislike?
5.Read high quality literature and books: –Very good writers are especially expert observers of human nature. This is their job to look at the small details of a person’s thoughts, feelings, desires and actions which many of us get lost in the business of daily life. Good fiction teaches us how to think about people carefully and kindly.  So, spend some time with books and literature and make a list of good stories and learn self-awareness from it like a good friend.
6.Learn a new skill: – As the works of good writers help in our self-awareness. Similarly learning something new increases our self-awareness by forcing us to think and act in new ways. When we only do things that we are already good at, we fall into the false sense of security because we already know how things work but when the mind starts learning new skills; it has to become flexible and look at things in a fresh and new way. This means that if we want to create flexibility and freshness in ourselves and change the way we look at things from the beginning, we have to be a beginner and the best way to do that is to learn a new skill. Commitment to learning a new skill is a powerful exercise for mental flexibility and self-awareness.

In the end, we can say that although most of us may not experience self-awareness professionally as writers of human nature and smart viewers but still we all can learn a lot about ourselves by learning by paying attention as a writer.

आत्म-जागरूकता व्यक्तिगत विकास का पहला कदम है। स्वयं को जानने से हम अपने जीवन को नियंत्रित कर सकते हैं। आत्म-जागरूकता हमें स्वयं को स्पष्ट रूप से देखने में मदद करती है ।आत्म-जागरूकता का अभ्यास करने से हमें ज्ञान मिलता है जो हम अपने बारे में नहीं जानते हैं। आत्म-जागरूकता एक कभी न खत्म होने वाली यात्रा है – यहां तक ​​कि उन लोगों के लिए भी जो खुद को अच्छी तरह से जानते हैं। आत्म-जागरूकता बढ़ाना आपको एक बेहतर नेता में बदल सकता है – व्यक्तिगत और पेशेवर दोनों रूप में।आत्म-जागरूक लोग बेहतर निर्णय लेते हैं जो अधिक रचनात्मक और सहायक होते हैं; लेकिन आत्म-जागरूकता के बारे में इन बातों को जानने के बाद अब यह सवाल हम सभी के मन में उठ रहा होगा कि हम कैसे आत्म-जागरूक हो सकते हैं तो इसका उत्तर यह है कि निम्नलिखित तरीकों को अपनाकर हम आत्म-जागरूक बन सकते हैं । इन आत्म-जागरूकता अभ्यासों का आनंद लें , इन्हें अपने जीवन में लागू करने का प्रयास करें और देखें कि वे आपके लिए कितना काम करते हैं :-


1.हमारे मन की जागरूकता :-अक्सर हममें आत्म-जागरूकता की कमी होती है क्योंकि हम वास्तव में बहुत अधिक सोचते हैं। हम आसानी से अपने विचारों में खो जाते हैं,यह विश्वास करते हुए कि वे हमारे साथ सच्चे या संलग्न हैं, क्योंकि हमारे मन ने उन्हें हम पर फेंकने का फैसला किया होता  है , लेकिन समझ के नियमित अभ्यास से आपकी आँखें खुल जाएंगी कि दिमाग कैसे काम करता है और आपके विचारों की सामग्री के अलावा आपके पास कितना है। विशेष रूप से,अंतर्दृष्टि का अभ्यास करके आप अपने विचारों के काम करने केएक शानदार तरीके के बारे में अधिक जान सकते है। जब आप अपने विचारों को उनसे संपर्क किए बिना या उनके बारे में सोचने के बिना देखने का अभ्यास करते हैं तो आपको एक शक्तिशाली विचार का एहसास होना शुरू होता है जो आपका अपना नहीं है।

2.बौद्धिक विचलन की पहचान :- बौद्धिक विचलन गलत धारणाएं और मान्यताएं हैं, जो यह निर्धारित करती हैं कि हम खुद को और अन्य चीजों को कैसे देखते हैं। हम सभी की कुछ मानसिक आदतें होती हैं जिनमें हमें कोई पूर्वाग्रह नहीं दिखता है इसका अर्थ है कि आत्म-जागरूकता की कमी का एक प्रमुख स्रोत बुरी मानसिक आदतें हैं अगर हम गलत सोच के इन तरीकों को पहचानना सीखते हैं तो हम अधिक आत्म-जागरूक बन सकते हैं और बेहतर महसूस कर सकते हैं।

3.दूसरों से प्रतिक्रिया प्राप्त करें : –हर किसी के जीवन के कुछ ऐसे पहलू हैं जिन्हें कोई अपने लिए नहीं देख सकता है लेकिन उन्हें सुधारने की आवश्यकता होती है। इन पहलुओं के बारे में जानने और सुधारने के लिए फीडबैक एक बहुत प्रभावी तरीका है। आप अपने किसी भी करीबी दोस्त, परिवार आदि से यह फीडबैक प्राप्त कर सकते हैं कि वे आपके बारे में क्या सोचते हैं।आलोचना को अच्छी तरह से लेंहर कीमत पर बचाव से बचें लगता है कि आप बहुत अच्छा महसूस नहीं कर पाएं , जब कोई आपके सामने आपकी बुरी आदतें बताता है और यह ठीक भी है। इस तरह से महसूस करना सामान्य है उनकी प्रतिक्रिया को स्वीकार करने के लिए अपनी पूरी कोशिश करें और उनकी प्रतिक्रिया के लिए उन्हें धन्यवाद दें और उन्हें समझाएं कि आप इस पर काम करने की योजना बना रहे हैं।

4.उन चीजों पर ध्यान दें जो आपको अन्य लोगों के लिए परेशान करती हैं: – अक्सर वे चीजें जो हमें अन्य लोगों में सबसे अधिक परेशान करती हैं; कुछ ऐसे गुण हैं जो हमें पसंद नहीं हैं इसलिए जब भी हम किसी के काम या बात से परेशान होते हैं तो स्वयं से पूछें :- क्या मुझमें इस बात का प्रतिबिंब तो नहीं है जो मुझे नापसंद है?

5.उच्च गुणवत्ता वाले साहित्य और किताबें पढ़ें :- बहुत अच्छे लेखक विशेष रूप से मानव प्रकृति के विशेषज्ञ पर्यवेक्षक हैं।यह उनका काम है :- किसी व्यक्ति के विचारों,भावनाओं,इच्छाओं और कार्यों के छोटे विवरणों को देखने के लिए, जो हम में से कई दैनिक जीवन के व्यवसाय में खो देते हैं। अच्छा उपन्यास हमें सिखाता है कि लोगों के बारे में सावधानीपूर्वक और विनम्रता से कैसे सोचा जाए। इसलिए पुस्तकों और साहित्य के साथ कुछ समय बिताएं और अच्छी किताबों की एक सूची बनाएं और एक अच्छे दोस्त की तरह उससे आत्म-जागरूकता सीखें।

6.एक नया कौशल सीखें :- जैसे कि अच्छे लेखकों के काम हमारी आत्म-जागरूकता बढ़ाने में मदद करते हैं। इसी तरह कुछ नया सीखने से हमारी आत्म-जागरूकता बढ़ती है,जो हमें नए तरीकों से सोचने और कार्य करने के लिए मजबूर करती है।जब हम केवल उन चीजों को करते हैं जिसे हम पहले से ही अच्छे से जानते हैं, तो हम सुरक्षा की झूठी भावना में पड़ जाते हैं क्योंकि हम पहले से ही जानते हैं कि चीजें कैसे काम करती हैं लेकिन नए कौशल सीखने के लिए मन लचीला करना पड़ता है और चीजों को नए तरीके से देखना होता है इसका मतलब यह है कि अगर हम अपने आप में लचीलापन और ताजगी पैदा करना चाहते हैं और शुरुआत से ही चीजों को देखन चाहते हैं तो हमें एक शुरुआत करनी होगी और एक नया कौशल सीखना होगा। एक नया कौशल सीखने की प्रतिबद्धता मानसिक लचीलेपन और आत्म-जागरूकता में एक शक्तिशाली अभ्यास है।


अंत में, हम यह कह सकते हैं कि यद्यपि हम में से अधिकांश लोग स्व-जागरूकता को मानवीय प्रकृति और स्मार्ट दर्शकों के लेखक के रूप में अनुभव नहीं कर सकते हैं, फिर भी हम सभी एक लेखक के रूप में ध्यान देना सीखकर अपने बारे में बहुत कुछ सीख सकते हैं।
